Lead times on a custom cable can vary drastically depending on order size, peak or slow season and parts availability.
We will provide lead times when providing price estimates. Rush fees (if available) will put your order at the front of the line. Typically this is 25% of order price.

We start by understanding the type of cable, length, and the symptoms you are experiencing.
Then we will have you send your cable to us so we can do a bench evaluation. There is a small bench assessment fee for this step.
Following the evaluation, we will present you with a diagnosis, repair options, and an estimate.
After the repair, we will ship the cable back, guaranteed to be good as new!

Absolutely. All cables from The Fiber Guy come with a one-year warranty protecting you from manufacturing defects or order errors.

Most definitely. We can provide all of our longer cables shipped on show-ready, ruggedized reels that are designed for years of hard work.
If you have a special reel type or requirement for your reel, just let us know and we can provide all the options available.

Yes, our custom TAC cables (amongst others) can be built with an aluminum pulling grip installed to provide an optimal place to grab and pull a long run with minimal stress to the glass fibers inside.
We also install a protective safesock as standard on all cables with a fanout to protect the connectors when deploying.
